It’s going to get cold
The Dutch meteorological service the KNMI has issued a yellow weather warning ‘code yellow’ for the Netherlands, with everywhere south of Drenthe being predicted heavy snow from Saturday. From Sunday similar warnings are being given for Groningen, Friesland, and Drenthe, reports OOGTV.
Road users should be prepared for slippery conditions due to snowfall until at least 07:00 on Sunday morning.
On Saturday evening it will snow coming in from the south, and snowfall will spread northward during the night to Sunday. In many places 10 to 20 centimeters could fall through Sunday evening. In the north there is likely to be less snow, but strong winds are also predicted.
