The ‘sceptics’ had banner claiming that the Coronavirus vaccine is poisonous (it isn’t), and can ‘alter your genes’ (it can’t)
Translated by Thomas Ansell
As reported by Sikkom, a small group of smaller-minded people took to Vinkhuizen yesterday to protest against the coming of the GGD mobile vaccination unit. The ‘protests’ were organised on Telegram, and about twenty people decided to make themselves noticed by unfurling huge banners printed with mad lies about the Coronavirus vaccine.
It should be mentioned here that all of the Coronavirus vaccines used in the Netherlands have undergone rigorous safety testing by both the Dutch RIVM and the European EMA. All are at least 90 percent effective at preventing symptomatic cases of the Coronavirus, and the Netherlands’ vaccination campaign is likely to have saved tens of thousands of lives- and spared many more from having to enter hospital.
Now, back to the crazies. One large banner read (translated from Dutch) “Stop the Big Reset. Don’t make the Netherlands like China”. Whether the banner owner wants the Netherlands to be prevented from flavourful regional food is unconfirmed. Another read (also translated) “Covid-Vaccine = poison”, which is, perhaps unsurprisingly, not true. Generally, poisonous substances don’t receive clearance for mass rollout as a medical product.
Another read “no medical experiments, and certainly not on children”- which is, to be fair, a reasonable ask: although you have to wonder if the owner of that sign knew which ‘protest’ they were at.
The ‘protesters’ apparently completed their ‘work’ without harassing anyone attending their vaccine appointment, or any of the GGD staff. Which is one plus-point, at least.
