Steenbok Sport is providing matchmaking services, as well as walking routes and even snacks
Steenbok Sport, a shop for sports equipment for hiking, (trail) running and barefoot walking near Kardinge, wants to help young people to meet each other in Groningen. The company has come up with the idea of organising a series of walks where young people in the city can meet for a walking date (at a 1.5-metre distance, and certainly not if you have a cough).
People can sign up for a date on the Steenbok website, and will be matched with another student for the ambulatory experience. All of the dates will hit the road on May 21 (at 16:00), and sign-up costs 9.95 euros.
The dates can take place in the north, south, east or west of the city of Groningen, with different walking routes for each location. In addition, the company will provide some ice-breaking questions to start the conversation, and coffee, tea and snacks (served by a ‘barista’) along the way.
