Applications to volunteer at Noorderzon are now open.
Noorderzon, Groningen’s annual summer international performing arts festival, will take place from the 22nd of August until September 1st at the Noorderplantsoen and other locations around the city centre. Ticket sales start on the 22nd of June.
Because last year the festival welcomed about 140,000 visitors over 11 days at more than 25 venues, stages, and the park itself, Noorderzon relies on about 700 volunteers every year. So without volunteers, there won’t be Noorderzon. Volunteers are responsible for setting up stages, guiding visitors, or being behind the bar. There’s a suitable task for every talent.
