It’s always Vindicat
Everyone’s favourite priviledge-laden, greasy student association Vindicat has suspended one of its members after they compiled a vile ‘bang list’. The list allegedly includes the names of women the person had bedded (how?), along with some typically awful comments.
“Vindicat condemns all forms of intimidation, including this list,” the association said on its website.
Vindicat’s website states that the board of the association was presented with the list on 25 June. “This list does not contribute to the feeling of security within the student world. The association takes this very seriously. The board of Vindicat was able to quickly identify the maker of the list and has immediately suspended this person for an indefinite period of time”, reports the GIC.
The board has been in contact with a number of women on the list, who have been offered assistance. They can also be put in touch with the police if they wish.
In stark contrast to the myriad of other Vindicat scandals, the association took immediate action this time. The news was published via its own website (what a great advert for potential new member). The board also reported the incident to the educational institutions in the city.
The question remains, though, if we want a city where students can feel safe and have fun, should Vindicat be consigned to the past?
