Translation by Traci White
The Leeuwarder Courant reports that the dig uncovered a fibula dating back to the Middle Ages. A 13th century bronze wool comb and a fragment of a long bone were also found, along with pieces of pottery and crockery dating back between the 12th and 14th centuries.
New homes and several water features will soon be built on the site.
