Meetings are being cancelled, and no work trips can take place
The Groningen university hospital UMCG has announced new measures against the COVID-19 Corona virus: people with mild symptoms may no longer visit patients at the hospital. Incidentally, the province of Groningen is still the only province in The Netherlands where no corona virus has yet been established. As reported by the Groninger Internet Courant (GIC)
Meetings with more than thirty participants in the hospital must be canceled, and smaller meetings can only take place if participants have no complaints and have not been in a risk area recently.
The lectures of the medical public academy in March have been canceled.
Employees of the UMCG are no longer allowed to make business trips. Conferences, symposia and working visits at home and abroad are no longer allowed.
