Both are now in isolation
Two children from the town of Coevorden in Drenthe are infected with the COVID-19 Corona virus, the GGD announced on Sunday evening. The children are both in home isolation and GGD Drenthe is conducting a contact investigation. In total, there are now ten cases of the Corona virus in the province of Drenthe. There are no reports of the virus in Groningen, yet.
The GGD writes that it is in close contact with the directors of the schools where the children attend, RTV Drenthe reports.
One child is a student at the RKBS St. Willibrordus in Coevorden and the other child goes to De Nieuwe Veste secondary school in Coevorden.
Employees, parents and carers have received a letter with more information.
This explains, for example, how parents and caregivers can talk to their child about this subject, but also how they should monitor complaints.
