Omrop Fryslân reports that two people were arrested in Friesland on Wednesday in connection the death of a man in the town of Heeg.
A 28-year-old man from Leeuwarden and a 52-year-old man from Joure were detained by the police this week. The two men are suspected of involvement with the death of a 56-year-old man in the town of Heeg in Súdwest Fryslân. The man was found dead in his home on Molefinne on 6 February.
An autopsy and the police and crime scene investigators could not definitively determine whether the man’s death was the result of a crime. A special investigative team later evaluated the case and raised the possibility that the man was murdered.
