The TT is the largest motorcycle event in the Netherlands
Due to the Coronavirus outbreak, the physical weekend of motorcycle racing has been postponed this year. But organisers have said that they hope enthusiasts can enjoy the TT in a different way: through an online alternative event.
The “4 TT Festival in your own garden” will start on Saturday 20 June. As reported by the Asser Courant.
The festival will last a week in total, with a TT activity taking place online every day. For example, visitors can participate in a beer crate stacking competition, or win a rodeo bull by making their garden “Corona-proof”. The main part of the event is a four-hour interactive live show on June 27.
Viewers can communicate with the festival, the artists and each other during the show via a special TT Festival app: it will also be possible to request a song on the same app. Several artists will perform during the live stream, including Melrose, Great Pianos and Kevin Paré.
