The patient is from Coevorden
A third COVID-19 Coronavirus patient has been identified in Drenthe, in the city of Coevorden. The man works at the company in the city where two other employees are staying at home because of the virus.
The infection was detected last night- earlier in the day it had been announced that a Bannink Packaging employee living in Germany also had the virus. The first Dutch patient in whom the virus was diagnosed Sunday also works at that company. The patient’s partner is also infected.
The infected people within the company were tested after contact investigations revealed that they were a risk, GGD Drenthe reports. The health service cannot say whether there are more people waiting for a test result at this time, reports RTV Noord.
