According to the organizing parties, the face mask is increasingly becoming part in fashion and the necessary creativity is often lacking. That is why people were challenged to design an inventive and original mouth mask. The mask did not have to be practical or medically sound.
The winners of a face mask design competition are Jeanet Metselaar, Marc Paulusma and the duo Gea Vermeulen and Marieke Kort-Postmus (photo above). Photos of their face masks will exhibited in the Groninger Museum.
