According to Entree Magazine, The Stockroom in Groningen is the best new cocktail bar in the Netherlands
The trade magazine for the catering industry chose the bar over four other nominees, and announced the result on Monday.
According to the jury, The Stockroom distinguished itself by creating “the perfect balance between unique and professional service, hospitality, bartenders and cocktails in just the right atmosphere and with the right decor”.
The bar on the Oosterstraat in Groningen has been open since the end of March. Jury members praised the way in which you can purchase exclusive editions of bottled drinks. If you do not drink the entire bottle, the bartenders keep it in a special cellar with your name on it. “You’ll never want to leave here,” said the jury.
