Local tech company Klippa won an industry award for document management in London.
Klippa, which was founded in Groningen, uses AI-powered solutions to automate document processing, mobile scanning, classification, fraud detection, and verification based on documents and images. They support over 1000 clients in 25 countries all over the world.
On Linkedin, Klippa CEO Yeelen Knegtering said the award is proof that their “highly automated document processing platform is taking the industry by storm” and that “the new kid on the block” is becoming an industry leader.
Klippa has also been recognised as one of the top 50 fastest growing companies in the Netherlands at the Deloitte TechnologyFast50 for the third year in a row. They placed 33rd on the list with a growth rate of 585%.
Earlier this year, Knegtering had said that Klippa has been hiring expats since 2019 and hasn’t looked back since. It currently has an international team of over 70 people, with offices in Groningen, Amsterdam, Hamburg, and Brasov.
The Northern Times visited Klippa in 2023 as the company celebrated the opening of its new Groningen HQ.
