Thousands of people unfollowed Dutch suit company Suitsupply on social media after they introduced their latest ad campaign: posters featuring kissing men.
Sikkom reports that posters at various locations across the Netherlands were defaced with spray paint and tape, including at least one on display near Kardinge sports centre in Groningen.
Previous ads by Suitsupply have led to similar polarised public reception. A series of posters advertising the company in 2016 featured tiny male models on top of oversized female models’ bodies, and a 2015 campaign depicted men wearing Suitsupply suits while engaging in sexual activities with women.
