Dutch bus drivers continue their fight for better working conditions: If the unions and employers do not reach an agreement in the next couple of days, the drivers will not get behind the wheels of their busses on Monday 25 June.
This time, the unions say, the strike could last for weeks on end. Bus drivers have been unhappy about their working conditions for quite some time. Negotiations between representing unions and public transport companies about improved conditions have been going on for months, but haven’t led to any results so far.
Unlike during earlier strikes, all Arriva trains in the northern provinces will run according to schedule.
