The N46 between Groningen and Eemshaven was closed until lunch time
In a very serious accident on the N46, the road between the city of Groningen and Eemshaven, a 33-year-old man from Groningen was killed on Tuesday morning, reports the GIC.
The man was driving a passenger car that collided with a commercial vehicle driven by a 48-year-old man from the city of Groningen. The commercial driver was taken to hospital injured via helicopter. The accident happened at around 07:00 this morning, and the road was closed until lunch time.
It is now yet known what the results of police research into the incident are.
