Even less inventive than writing notes on your thighs and then going to the bathroom to read them
RUG Economics and Business first year students tried to cheat their way through three exams recently, only to be caught by the University. The students must now repeat the exams, hopefully without cheating.
As reported by the UKrant, the students study Economics and Business Economics, and cheated on their mid-term exams entitled ‘International Business’, ‘mathematics’, and ‘micro-economics’. Last week the Exam Board for the Faculty of Economics and Business declared the exams invalid, following widespread communication between various students regarding the content of the exam.
Students have received an email in which the committee explains that this examination fraud means that it cannot correctly evaluate the knowledge, understanding and skills in the relevant subject for any student.
