Today and tomorrow, November 5 and 6, MartiniPlaza in Groningen will be filled with 600 companies and 25.000 visitors during the Promotiedagen (Promotion Days). The Promotiedagen are the largest business networking event in the Northern Netherlands.
The Promotion Days features companies: large and small, young and old, start-ups and those from the established order. You will also find about 20 trade fair squares and 75 meetings spread over two days. The Promotion Days attract on average around 25,000 visitors.
They will officially start on Tuesday at noon. In the morning, winemaker Ilja Gort will speak about his great passion, the lubricating oil of the economy: wine. On the second day of the Promotion Days, artist and innovator Daan Roosegaarde comes to share his vision with the Northern business community. He investigates the relationship between people, technology and space.
The program includes a continuous stream of workshops, presentations, lectures, pitches, network drinks, meet and greets, matchmaking sessions and debates. In Google’s Digital Workplace, for example, you can work on your digital skills in a 60-minute workshop.
In the Marketing Theater you follow a marketing quiz, learn about business vlogging and discover the golden opportunities of Pinterest. Visit the Arena for a session on Cyber Security (Rickey Gevers) or Tony’s route map to 100% slave-free chocolate, by Ynzo van Zanten (Tony’s Chocolonely).
The Promotion Days can be visited free of charge, however attendees do have to request an access card here.
