The police station in Haren on the Vondellaan was broken into overnight on Friday.
Several police uniforms were stolen during the break-in, but the police report that no service weapons were taken. “As of now, it does not appear that they broke into the weapons lockers”.
OOGTV reports that the police are asking for anyone who may have witnessed the incident to contact them.
It was recently revealed that police uniforms and a service weapon were stolen from several different officers’ homes across the north, but the police do not believe those incidents were connected.
