The police are looking for anyone who has any tips about the large fire which broke out in a flat on the Oosterstaat on Sunday morning.

The police are not sure how exactly the fire started and are still seeking help from witnesses to identify the source of the blaze. The fire began in the early hours of Sunday morning on the balcony of the flat and then moved into the flat itself.
No one was injured, but the fire caused significant damage to the flat. The Jumbo grocery store located downstairs also suffered water damage.
The tenants in the neighbouring flats were evacuated to the police department in Groningen on the Rademarkt during the blaze.
