Saturday evening saw a wild-west scene in the city
Police officers fired a warning shot on Saturday evening after a wild chase in the Zeeheldenbuurt in the City of Groningen, reports OOGTV.
“The chase started around 9 pm,” said a police spokesman. “On the Paterswoldseweg, we wanted to check a car that contained four men. They ran away at that check and ignored a stop sign. ”
What followed was a chase that ended on Van Brakelplein where the car was brought to a halt.
“A warning shot was also fired. The first suspect was arrested on the spot. Three other men ran off. All three were tracked down and arrested nearby. The foursome have been transferred to the police station.”
