A day packed full of presentations, symposia, and discussions awaits

PhD Day will take place online on June 4 this year (12:45-18:00), with the theme ‘Make it in the North’: the annual event is intended to provide inspiration for the thousands of PhD students in Groningen, whether they’re just starting their course, or about to finish and looking for the next opportunity.
Attendance is free, and sign-up is open now! The keynote speaker for the day will be Paul Parren, professor of molecular immunology at Leiden university and executive vice president of Lava Therapeutics, but the programme includes workshops by Elsevier and EV Biotech, discussions on how to best manage an academic career, amongst other subjects.
For the 2021 edition particular focus will be put on finding careers in the North (hence the name), together with the Make it in the North job platform.
