During the annual Construction Day on Saturday, 2 June, the public can get a sneak peek inside the new Groninger Forum which is under construction at the Grote Markt.

The ground floor and the first four floors of the building will be open to the public. The fourth floor will eventually be the location of an exhibit space and several movie theatres.
Organisers are expecting a big turnout, so visitors will only be able to follow a carefully chosen route from the ground floor to the fourth floor. Guests will cross a footbridge connecting the movie theatres to the exhibit space – the lifts and escalators inside the building are not yet up and running.
Signing up in advance is not necessary in order to check out the skyline-defining building. The building is scheduled to officially open its doors in the summer of 2019.
