Eight of the thirteen members of staff are in self-isolation
Childcare ‘de Kinderkabinet’ in Paterswolde in the province of Drenthe has been closed because an employee at the daycare center has been infected with the Coronavirus. As reported by the GIC.
The staff member is said to have started feeling unwell on Sunday, and she was tested on Monday. On Tuesday, the test returned as positive, whilst two other reception staff have also begun feeling unwell. They will both now be tested, too.
Contact research showed that the infected employee had been in direct and indirect contact with eight of the thirteen employees since Friday. They are all quarantined.
The childcare centre’s management, together with a parent committee, decided to close the doors of the Kinderkabinet until 1 July. That is exactly two weeks from now and will allow all staff members to complete their full quarantine.
