The Northern Maritime Museum sets the mood for a blood-curdling Halloween weekend by organizing a murder mystery to be solved by crime enthusiasts.

Crime related podcasts, documentaries, and exit games are as popular as never before. No wonder Groningen’s Maritime Museum came up with the idea for a spooky and adventurous murder mystery right before Halloween.

Find the suspect(s)

Anyone who has always wanted to be part of a criminal investigation gets the chance to solve a murder mystery on October 30 (Saturday). Every half hour between 17:00 and 19:30, the museum will open its door for visitors to investigate a murder case.

Once equipped with a mobile phone, including a QR code scanner, flashlight, and enough data, you are ready to start the adventure together with your family or friends. Clues will be scattered throughout the centuries-old museum that will help you to navigate through the crime scene.

Get ready

The game is suitable for everyone starting from the age of 12, costs € 5 per person, and lasts 75 minutes. Sign up by sending an e-mail to info@noordelijkscheepvaartmuseum.nl, and don’t forget to mention the number of participants.

Here, you can find further information.
