The number of Coronavirus patients admitted to hospitals in Groningen now risen to 50
On Friday morning, 50 Coronavirus patients had been admitted to hospitals in Groningen, with nine of them in an Intensive Care unit. This is evident from the latest figures from the Acute Care Network Northern Netherlands, OOGTV reports.
The number of hospital admissions is also increasing in the rest of the Northern Netherlands. In Friesland, 42 people with COVID-19 have now been admitted to a hospital, twelve of which are in an ICU. In Drenthe, five of the 19 patients in total are admitted to an IC.
A total of 43 people from outside the Northern Netherlands have been admitted to a hospital here to help spread the load across the country. Twelve of them are in an IC.
