The Wilhelmina Hospital in Assen is one of the best regional hospitals in the Netherlands
In the Top 100 hospital-list of the Dutch newspaper Algemeen Dagblad, the hospital from Assen came in third place.
The AD compiled various lists, including one for “regional hospitals”, and in this list the Wilhelmina Hospital in Assen finished third out of the forty hospitals assessed.
Drenthe
Treant Hospital Bethesda in Hoogeveen is in thirtieth place, whilst the Scheper Hospital in Emmen finished in 38th place. Last year Emmen finished at the bottom of the list.
Groningen
Other Northern hospitals were also assessed. The Ommelander Hospital in Scheemda is at position 37 and the Treant Refaja Hospital in Stadskanaal is in 32nd place
Friesland
The Nij Smellinghe hospital in Drachten placed fourth, while the Tjongerschans Hospital in Heerenveen is in fourth place in the “regional hospitals” category.
