Hospitals in Drenthe, Friesland and Groningen have seen a very small decrease in the number of patients suffering from Covid-19. The latest figures, released by the regional acute care association Roaz, show there are 76 patients being treated for the virus in the region’s hospitals, compared to 80 three days earlier.
In terms of the number of patients requiring intensive care, the region has again seen a very small decrease – with the number reducing by two. The Friesland figure dropped from six to five, the Drenthe number declined from five to four, while the figure for Groningen remained the same at nine.
58 COVID patients receive treatment in isolation wards – 22 in Groningen, 7 in Drenthe and 29 in Friesland.
No COVID-19 related deaths have been recorded in the region’s hospitals this week.
