Travellers to or from the Groningen Central Station will have to use Arriva rail replacement buses on Saturday and Sunday.

Train travel to Buitenpost, Eemshaven, Delfzijl has been restricted for the past two weeks due to construction works increasing rail capacity between Groningen and Leeuwarden, and the installation of a tunnel underneath the railroad tracks at the Paterswoldseweg in Groningen.
From Saturday through Sunday, train travel to Veendam and Weener will also be disrupted. Arriva rail replacement buses will transport travellers between the stations. OOGTV reports that trains travelling toward Assen and Zwolle will be running as normal from Groninger Europapark.
Rail service on all lines from the Groningen Central station should resume as normal on Monday, 29 October.
