The ‘Pre Summer Career Event’ is being organised by Make it in the North, the Gemeente Groningen, and Campus Groningen

The first ‘Online Career Event’ in the Northern Netherlands will take place on 2 July, called the ‘Pre Summer Career Event’. It’s an initiative of Make it in the North, the municipality of Groningen and Campus Groningen, who have “explored the online possibilities to continue to facilitate matchmaking between business and talent”.
So, the ‘Pre-Summer Career Event’ will take place from 15:00 to 18:00 on July 2, via the Let’s Get Digital platform, which will feature a number of Northern companies looking to meet new talent!
The digital event will offer the same opportunities as a physical event: workshops, 1-on-1 meetings, a virtual job market; CV exchanges, and interesting networking conversations. The digital platform offers plenty of opportunities for talent and companies to get in touch with each other.
Michiel Kasteleijn, Business Manager at the IWCN, is enthusiastic about the digital career event: “Since July 2019, three successful career events have been organized in the three northern provinces under the label ‘Make it in the North’: with 300+ talent and 40+ companies every edition. Thanks to this digital career event, we can continue to connect regional, national and international talent and industry. Now, and in the future!”
Talent and companies can register for the Pre Summer Career Event via www.presummercareerevent.nl. Companies have the option to register for the event and claim a digital stand. The places for a digital stand are limited on a first come first serve basis.
The final program and instructions for accessing the digital event will follow in the upcoming weeks (via mail and website Pre Summer Career Event).
