Airline Nordica has canceled its daily flights between Groningen Airport Eelde and Brussels. According to Nordica, there was insufficient demand for the connection.
From 25 March, Nordica will be stationing a plane on Eelde that will fly to Copenhagen (twice a day), Munich and Nice.
Due to the lack of interest in the Brussels connection, Nordica decided to look to replace it with another destination. Groningen Airport Eelde is interested in adding daily flights to cities such as Paris, Milan, Berlin and Vienna. The expectation is that Nordica will announce what the new destination will be later this month.
Nordica will be contacting passengers who have booked tickets to or from Brussels in order to find a suitable solution.
