The Night Mayor of Groningen, Merlijn Poolman, sent a message of support to all International people in the city last month, which you can view here. He has now followed this up with another message of support, this time also for the various night-life outlets in the city that are suffering. Poolman suggests getting the night-out experience at home by ordering from various restaurants and bars, making sure to maintain physical distancing whilst having social contact.
He then re-iterates that the ‘Nachtraad’ (Night-Council) is here for Internationals, especially those who may feel lonely or vulnerable.
