Other test sites will be coming to municipalities around the Province from September 1
The GGD Groningen is opening a new Coronavirus testing location at Europaweg 8. The location in an old Philips building will open on 1 September. The current testing location in the UMCG will close that day.
The GGD Groningen will use the main entrance of the former Philips building and will utilise the right wing of the ground floor, GIC.nl reports.
Only people needing a test will be allowed to use the main entrance- there is ample parking available, too, for both cars and bicycles. The test centre will soon be open 7 days a week.
The GGD also wants to open various other test locations in the province. There are currently discussions with a number of municipalities about potentially suitable locations, according to the GGD. The aim is also to open these locations by 1 September at the latest.
