If you happen to see soldiers in the Rensenpark in Emmen in May, don’t panic.
From 14 to 16 May, the Royal Netherlands Army will be participating in military exercises in the Rensenpark in Emmen. The exercise will be carried out by a special reconnaissance unit based in ‘t Harde in Gelderland.
The soldiers will remain out of sight at times, but they may also occasionally interact with people visiting the part. The park will remain open as usual during the military exercise, and there will be spokespeople on site to answer visitors’ questions.
