What do you think makes Groningen unique? Since late March, residents of the province and city of Groningen have been able to share what Groningen means to them with the hashtag #mijngroningen.
Social media users can use the hashtag to show what their personal version of Groningen is – for better or worse- be it favourite spots and activities or the realities of daily life in the region. The social media campaign’s goal is to get people more involved in the lead up to King’s Day on 27 April.
Users can post their entries on Instagram, YouTube or the Koningsdag2018Groningen Facebook page. The creators of the winning video and photo will receive a hot air balloon ride for two.
