The Energy Academy and Campus Groningen have organised a career event themed around one of the world’s largest challenges

Meet Your Future in Energy will be an online career event on Tuesday November 24, between 15:00 and 17:30. The programme isn’t just a virtual version of a job fair, but an interactive rostrum of masterclasses, webinars, and one-on-one recruitment chats. “Campus Groningen has easy access to top research, Human Capital, educational institutes, and top innovative energy companies- and this online event is a great opportunity for companies and talent to get to know eachother”, says Amber van der Schaaf, of Campus Groningen.
The event is supported by Make it in the North, and the Gemeente Groningen– and aims to bring more talented International people into the energy sector, to help with the global need for energy transition to cleaner, greener sources. Companies from the innovative Campus Groningen will all attend, and there is plenty of (virtual) room for other companies in the Energy Sector to sign up, too.
Appropriately, the Energy Academy will be providing experts to speak on subjects related to green energy, switching our reliance on fossil fuels, and ideas including energy storage, and greening current systems. “If you want to be at the forefront of energy transition, start or boost your career in Energy, and turn ideas into reality, you have to be in Groningen”, enthuses Linda Flanderijn of the New Energy Coalition.
