The Public Library in the Oude Boteringestraat in Groningen will open for the last time on Saturday 2 November
The forum building a very popular study-place for (international) students and residents. The doors of the new library, in the Forum Groningen, will open on November 29.
In the meantime, more than 90,000 books will be moved to the new location.
Due to the closure, an extra long loan period will apply in the coming period: books need not be returned until after 29 November.
In addition, a lot can be borrowed extra: 25 books in total.
This has the double effect of meaning that the Library does not have to move so many books to the Groninger Forum.
