The tastiest shop in Groningen has got the recognition it deserves!
You may remember a few weeks ago that Indebuurt Groningen released its top-3 shortlist for its business of the year prize, with The Northern Times standing squarely behind Folkingestraat’s Le Souk. Well, the results are in and the Algerian grocers has won the top prize!
Mohammed Khemmoun began Le Souk in 1982, and since then has been doling out dashes of colour and flavour to intrigued Groningers, and International Groningers looking for an alternative to fried food.
