The third edition of the book and record fair Rock & Read will be held in Groningen’sMediacentrale this weekend.
It’s the biggest fair of its kind in the North of the Netherlands and will contain about 60,000 records and second-hand books selected by charity workers. All profits will go to charities working to lower low literacy in the North.
GIC reported that the Rock & Read fair is a non-profit foundation and originated from Rotaryclub Groningen Zuid. Different organisations and businesses can support the initiative with donations.
The fair will be taking place on Friday, November 1st from 18:00 until 21:30, Saturday, November 2nd from 11:00 until 17:00, and Sunday, November 3rd from 11:00 until 16:00 at the Mediacentrale Groningen, an office complex close to the Europapark train station.
Entrance and parking is free.
