The Groningen-founded software development company Klippa launched its DocHorizon platform that allows companies to automate their administrative tasks using AI.
In a statement, Klippa said that the idea of the new DocHorizon Platform is to help anyone use the power of AI in a visual environment. Resources saved through automation can then be used to tackle organisational challenges and improve workplace meaningfulness.
Essentially, the platform is a solution that can automate boring office tasks. It is available for all languages using the Latin alphabet.
“DocHorizon bridges a common gap between amazing AI technology and most office workers: the knowledge gap. With our platform, you no longer need to be a software developer to reap the benefits of AI, everyone can now automate their own administrative workflows”, said Klippa CEO Yeelen Knegtering.
How does it work?
On the platform, office workers who perform administrative tasks can automate tasks involving documents – think of scanning, sorting, and extracting information from files.
All of these tasks can now be automated with a few clicks. A user can, for instance, create an automated process that fetches documents from an email, checks them, and sends them to the company’s file storage system.
According to Klippa, DocHorizon means that employees no longer need to deal with mundane and repetitive tasks. Employers can reduce workloads and tackle other issues without having to solely rely on more recruitment.
In September, Klippa celebrated its move to its new headquarters in Groningen. It’s a growing company that often hires internationals.
Klippa will soon represent the Netherlands at the influential tech event CES 2024 in Las Vegas, USA. The Dutch software company will showcase its new platform at this event.
