King’s Day: The Netherlands goes orange

Across the Netherlands, Dutch people are getting their orange on for King’s Night and King’s Day. There are tons of festive events happening across the north, including flea markets and live music in most of the bigger towns. 

Groningen is the centre of attention this year thanks to a visit from the royal family on Friday, and the city is getting into the party spirit with dozens of events and activities on offer.
