The Job Café is an event for internationals looking for work and companies in the IT sector seeking professional talent to find one another. The event is being put together by the International Welcome Center North, Growing Emmen, the municipality of Emmen, Code Gorilla and Phoenixx.video.
The event is intended for highly skilled migrants, recent university graduates or students preparing to graduate and internationals in general with experience in the IT field. Companies that will be present at the event include Autonational, a composite manufacturer; The Learning Network, an educational tools supplier; Webba, a web architecture company; and X-Interactive, a web developer.
The event’s organisers hope that the event will serve as an informal opportunity for companies and job candidates to get to know one another. This is the second local edition of the IT Job Café: the first edition was held in Groningen in February of 2018.
The IT Job Café will be held at 5 p.m. on Thursday, 29 November at Growing Emmen (Baander 4) and interested participants can sign up via email at events@iwcn.nl.
