The tiny Drenthe village of Grolloo is the stage for the Holland Blues Festival again this year, featuring guitar legends Jeff Beck and Joe Bonamassa and former Beatles drummer, Ringo Starr.

This is third edition of the festival which has quickly become the biggest blues event in the Netherlands. The festival’s location in the obscure Drenthe town is no coincidence: the most famous Dutch blues act, Cuby and the Blizzards, was founded there.
The two-day festival will kick off on Friday afternoon, and Joe Bonamassa will be the closing act on Saturday night. Tickets for Saturday and passes for the whole weekend are sold out, but there are still tickets available for Friday, which is when Jeff Beck and Ringo Starr will take the stage, among others.
