Information, fun, and even prizes await at the IWCN’s Welcome to the North 2020

By Thomas Ansell

On Wednesday 28 October, the IWCN and Connect International will be holding an online welcome event between 19:00 and 21:00; Welcome to the North 2020!

Usually, an event is held in both Groningen/Drenthe and Friesland to welcome new International people to the North, but due to the Coronavirus the event will be held online this year.

No matter, though, with the IWCN and Connect International promising heaps of useful tips, a big dose of gezelligheid, and even prizes to be won at Welcome to the North 2020. The event is free to attend, and can be signed up for via the IWCN website.

Welcome to the North 2020 will be held on the IWCN’s own webinar system, and will include a presentation packed full of useful information, the IWCN’s Northern Pub Quiz, and a look at some common Dutch cultural practices to help everyone feel at home in the North.

Sign-up is open now! The event is completely free of charge for attendees
