The number of COVID patients admitted to hospitals in Groningen has again increased. This is apparent from figures from the Acute Care Network Northern Netherlands, released Friday morning.
By Friday morning there were 14 COVID patients in hospitals in Groningen. Five of these patients were treated in an ICU, reported OOGTV. Compared to a week ago, this is an increase of 2 COVID patients, with the number of those in the ICU remaining the same.
The hospitals in the three provinces of the northern Netherlands were jointly treating 35 corona patients by Friday morning. This also reflects a slight increase from a week ago. Of the 35 patients admitted, sixteen were in an ICU.
Thirteen patients were admitted from outside the regions of the northern Netherlands. Eight of this group of patients were treated in an ICU.
