Hundreds of job seekers in the Netherlands are set to join an online job-networking event in March targeting the digital sector.
Job platform Make it in the North is organising the free online event, Make it in the North x Digital Jobs, on Thursday 17th March 2022 from 14:00 to 17:00.
The networking event will pair up Northern Dutch companies with English-speaking job seekers such as developers, marketeers, graphic designers, social media gurus, data analysts—and anyone with an interest in working in the Northern Dutch digital sector.
“International, English-speaking talent can be found all over the North, and people within this group tend to be ambitious and highly educated. Best of all, many are incredibly motivated to find work in our region,” says IWCN Business Manager Michiel Kasteleijn.
Make it in the North is also encouraging people who aren’t looking for a full-time job just yet to sign-up as it’s a great opportunity for them to expand their professional network.
During the event, participants will be able to speed date with companies or jobseekers, make 1-on-1 appointments, and attend interesting webinars on topics such as “Working in the North”, “How to hire an international” and “Digital Innovations in the North”.
“We already live in a digital society, and new technology is coming online every day. The Northern Netherlands has a strong reputation in IT, AI, big data; and smart industry and companies across the region need more International talent to help them develop,” says Alex van Ginneken from Noordelijke Online Ondernemers.
Sign-ups for the event are already open here.
