Here & Now launches in Drenthe: get your personalised cultural calendar now!

All the culture, all the events, just one website

Yesterday evening the hotly-anticipated Here & Now Drenthe launched at the Growing Global event in Emmen. Here & Now is a cultural directory that lists all the goings-on, including concerts and gigs, theatrical performances, meet-ups and parties; and online events. With the launch of Here & Now Drenthe, each of the Northern Provinces has its own edition.

“It is unbelievable how much there is to do in the province of Drenthe for English speakers. Even in the Corona times: there so much to get involved with!”, says Anastasija Zihareva, who devised the platform.

What makes Here & Now particularly clever is that it can create a recommendation-based personal cultural diary, which suggests new events and experiences based on what you’ve previously enjoyed.

First designed and created in the city of Groningen, Here & Now was made to help with cultural integration, and provide better social opportunities for local internationals.

Check out Here & Now Drenthe, Here & Now Friesland, and Here & Now Groningen for more!
