From 2 p.m. until 1 p.m., bands will get the party started at the base of Leeuwarden’s iconic crooked church tower. The acts in the DJ-heavy line up will range from laid back house to super hip upbeat dance sets.
The biggest act is Kriss Kross Amsterdam, a popular trio perhaps best known for their recent hit “Hij is van Mij” – imagine a Dutch remake of “The Boy is Mine”- featuring Maan and Tabitha.
DJ La Fuente, CMC$ – who has collaborated with international artists such as Conor Maynard and Icona Pop – rapper Jebroer, Mental Theo, Polish-Dutch rapper Mr. Polska, Dutch house music staples Jack Wins and Kav Verhouzer, and wunderkind DJ D-Borro will also take the stage in Leeuwarden on Thursday.
The 2019 edition will mark the 9th time the music festival has taken place during the long Ascension weekend. To get an impression of the vibes of the festival, check out the after movie from the 2017 edition:
