Hairdressers have reopened throughout the Netherlands. Under certain conditions, everyone can now go to the hairdresser again, but you must make an appointment in advance. Carla Hidding from Gees, a village in the province of Drenthe, has been cutting since 5:30 a.m., she tells RTV Drenthe.
The alarm went off very early for Carla Hidding from Gees. “I gave people a choice when they wanted to come and they just came so early.” Carla will continue tonight until 8:55 pm. “Because we still have a curfew.”
Her customers can now again take to the street with a fresh haircut, although Carla is completely full until mid-April. Carla has been a hairdresser for 28 years today. She actually wanted to start yesterday. “I had already filled my day completely yesterday, but I moved them all. I didn’t dare. Now they all come on Sunday.”
